What the job entails?
Planning – when to see which clients,
Calling on (visiting) clients (GP’s or Pharmacists),
Admin – any reports necessary, logging of calls, recording of information, etc.
Travelling – country trips, etc.
Full day’s work – Monday to Friday 8 – 5, sometimes extra hours when needed
Weekends – no weekend work but if there are cycle meetings or product launches and training, then weekends may be required
Evening dinners – taking clients out to dinner once per week.

GP’s - educating them on the specific products for scripting purposes, discussing clinical trials, benefits of the products, etc.
Medically related degree (That covers anatomy / physiology)
Pharmacy – discussing the products, the benefits of the products, having a commercial discussion, etc.
Any degree preferably accounts related
Must have pure mathematics in school (not math literacy) – must have A to C symbol
Country trips are an essential and non-negotiable part of the pharmaceutical sales rep job function. They will be required to travel away from home for a period of a 5 to 7 days (full week) to see clients. This trip occurs once a month for the Pharmacy position, and once every 6 weeks for Detailing position.
